Annex headaches continue for supervisors

At this rate, the saga of the new Grundy County annex building and repeated delays to its completion may never conclude.

           

The facility was originally scheduled for completion in late March, and it’s been pushed back over a painting job and landscaping issues with King Construction and their subcontractor, Young Painting of Waterloo.

           

“I think that March 23 (completion date) is going to be pretty accurate,” Supervisor Harlyn Riekena said sarcastically, in reference to the idea that the project wouldn’t be finished until next year.
