Christmas in Conrad set for this weekend

The time-honored tradition of Christmas in Conrad is back for another go round this weekend, and due to the extenuating circumstances, it could be a particularly emotional occasion.
           
Longtime Chamber-Main Street Director Darla Ubben, who in past years organized the event and was one of its most active participants, recently entered hospice care as she battles colon cancer, and her presence will most certainly be felt throughout the downtown area. This year’s theme is “Miracle on Main,” and the main events will begin around 5:10 p.m. when Santa and Mrs. Claus light the tree at Dorothy King Park and visit the Conrad Public Library from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
