Longtime local business, Jesco Welding and Machine, is undertaking a large addition project that will add nearly 10,000 square feet of extra space to the existing building in order to keep up with current demand.

Jesco owner Jason Monaghan says he’s had the idea for the expansion for a number of years now, but decided it was finally time to pull the trigger on the project.

“We’ve had a need for more space for quite a while now,” Monaghan said. “The equipment we work on [which includes farm equipment, construction equipment and more] is only getting bigger and bigger, and we need an adequate space to work on that equipment.”

Monaghan says that right now, he and his employees have had to work on a lot of large machinery and equipment outside, because much of it won’t fit properly inside the building.
