Comet cafe returns with Hollywood theme

The ever-popular Comet Café is back at BCLUW High School this spring with a theme of “Hollywood”—each meal is based off of a popular movie and is prepared by one of the 10 students in the class.
           
“I think (the students) wanted to come up something new and different than the people in the past had done,” High School FCS Teacher Karen Hammers said. “They’re into movies and entertainment, so they thought that would be fun.”
           
Some of the movies included this year are the “Harry Potter” series, “Forrest Gump,” “Good Burger,” “State Fair,” “The Help” and “Kung Fu Panda,” to name a few, and while “Good Burger” is probably the most literal food interpretation, all of them tie in the characters and scenarios from the films in some way.
