Conrad man shoots hole-in-one at SHRA
Even at 78 years old, it’s never too late to shoot your first hole-in-one. Conrad’s Les Gummert achieved the rare feat last week on hole three at the South Hardin Recreation Area in Union, and, to hear him tell it, he’s just as surprised as anyone else.
“I thought that I’d better get (my first hole-in-one) pretty soon before I can’t play anymore… or I die. So I sure hope God’s not trying to send me a message or something,” he said.
