REINBECK – Saturday was an opportunity for Dike-New Hartford wrestling to recognize the Wolverines' contributors from Gladbrook-Reinbeck.

G-R students Jace Petersen, Aidan Walters and Cole Engel won nine total matches to help D-NH to a 3-1 record at the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Duals on Saturday afternoon.

The Wolverines finished second to West Delaware, which dealt D-NH its only loss on the day in a 39-31 dual. D-NH defeated Western Dubuque 48-33, North Tama 48-21 and Southeast Polk 55-9.

"We wrestled a lot of tough kids, and we wrestled them tough," said Petersen, who was 4-0 on the day with four wins by fall at 138 pounds. "That dual with West Delaware could've went either way, but our other duals could've gone the other way too, so we made it out pretty good today and the guys feel good about the way it went."
