Council reviews bids on former Baptist Church property

Two local bidders have their eye on the vacant, city-owned lot at 801 7th Street, where the former First Baptist Church once sat.
 
At Monday night’s meeting, the Grundy Center City Council reviewed the bids, which are both for residential projects.
 
One bid came from Lance Moeller, who expressed plans to build a twin home/two-unit condo. The second bid came from Scotty Bienfang who expressed plans to build a four-unit structure with attached garages.
