A Day in the Life … at ELM in Grundy Center

On the outside, the Environmental Lubricants Manufacturing building on the north edge of Grundy Center looks like your average warehouse building; squat and grey with a few cars parked out front, not entirely hard to miss if you’re not looking for it.
But despite its unordinary outward appearance, what happens inside of the building is truly fascinating – which is why I decided to meet up with ELM intern and quality control manager Zach Rahnavardi, who agreed to let me follow him around last Friday afternoon for the next installment in The Grundy Register’s ongoing new feature series, “A Day in the Life.”
