Frederick A. Vanderwerf, 88, of Wellsburg, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Grundy Center while under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter’s Country Church, 13607 D. Ave., Wellsburg, IA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg. Burial will follow the funeral service at the church cemetery.
