Harberts plays big off the bench

DIKE –  Colton Harberts is making good contributions off the bench in his sophomore season with the Dike-New Hartford boys’ basketball team.
The sophomore is second on the team in total rebounds (60) and total blocks (7), averaging 8.4 points per game as a 6-foot-6 sixth man that allows for some flexibility on a Wolverines’ team that mixes senior experience with up-and-coming sophomores and no junior class in between.
“We knew we’d have to go to sophomores, and we knew that he was probably going to be ready the soonest,” D-NH head coach Greg Moore said. “His size helps him out there as well, especially the skill for his size, and he’s gotten better and better as the season has gone on.”
