Letter to the editor

Last weekend I had the pleasure of taking a friend to lunch in Grundy Center. I live in southern Iowa and travel to the area several times each year to visit an elderly friend, continuing a nearly 40 year friendship. Over the years we have tried several restaurants in the area including Grundy County 4H Omelet breakfast. On this trip, the Landmark Bistro had been recommended. What a treat! The food and service were wonderful.  We will definitely come again.

What I don’t understand is why the city isn’t doing more to support the business?  The entire front of the business has no parking. Was there handicap parking?  Reading online, I see that the Landmark Bistro has been in business over two years.  That should be long enough for changes to be made.
