Letter to the editor

Well kiddies, it’s that time of the year again when the city holiday police tell you how big your turkey can be, or if your Christmas tree is real or fake, or how tall it can be. 
 
Oh, wait, they can't do that yet, but they will declare that Halloween is under their control. I think not.  If you don't want to participate, snuff out your jack o' lantern, turn out your porch light and enjoy your night. 
 
But, for those for of us who want to, 8 or 9ish at night isn’t unreasonable. This is a government overreach that needs to go. Now.
