Brock Rohler, an alum of Grundy Center and Truman State's football programs, was invited by the NFL's New Orleans Saints to the pro football team's rookie minicamp.

Rohler is a two-time All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honorable mention punter after four years punting with the Bulldogs. Rohler averaged 40.8 yards per punt in his senior season at Truman State and had an impressive performance in a punting specialist camp competition this winter.

As a Spartan, Rohler was the team's quarterback and kicker. He was second-team all-state as a kicker and first team all-district as a quarterback in 2014. Rohler threw for 2,570 career yards and 27 touchdowns for the Spartans.

The Saints' minicamp is scheduled for May 10-12.
