Outlaw Fitness joins Grundy Center’s main street

GRUNDY CENTER – Outlaw Fitness, located at 629 G Ave, is the newest addition to Grundy Center’s main street, offering 24-hour gym access, boot camp classes, tanning and more.
Outlaw, which opened in mid-June, celebrated its grand opening during Felix Grundy weekend with a ribbon cutting, parade float and plenty of giveaways.
Owners and operators of Outlaw, Scott and Mindy Schmidt and Dustin and Stacy Beachly of Grundy Center, said that they decided to undertake the business of opening a fitness center because it was something they could do for the community; something that could help people improve their lives.
One of the owners, Dustin Beachly, said that he used to work out at the fitness center when it was owned by previous management, and used it as a place to turn his life around, losing 80 pounds and becoming a healthier person.
Beachly said that he wants to help other people do the same.
