AGWSR boys win at East Marshall

LE GRAND – AGWSR picked up a conference win on the road Friday in a decisive 66-40 win over East Marshall.
The Cougars owe the big win to a huge 30-point first quarter that put them up by 20 early on. With a 47-22 halftime lead, AGWSR maintained the margin in the second half to take the win by 26.
“We got off to a great start in this game,” AGWSR coach Russ Banzhaf said. “Offensively, (it was) probably our best first quarter of the year. We hit seven 3’s in the first quarter.”
