AGWSR girls fall short at East Marshall

LE GRAND – The AGWSR girls were unable to repeat an earlier season win over East Marshall, falling to the Mustangs 51-45 at Le Grand on Friday.
The Cougars got off to a strong start, leading 17-8 by the end of the first quarter, but East Marshall rallied back to claim the final three quarters and take the game by a six point margin.
“We struggled with turnovers,” Cougar coach Laurie Gann said. “We had 23 total. This allowed East Marshall to get back in the game after starting with a strong first quarter. We have to do a better job taking care of the ball.”
