Allen advises Supervisors of concerns about contract

   GRUNDY CENTER — Grundy County Attorney Erica Allen spoke to the Board of Supervisors Monday about concerns with a contract with AHTS Architects, which is working on plans for a new county annex building.
    Allen’s concerns were regarding language in the contract, particularly numerous instances where it referred to a different contract that is unrelated to the project at hand. She also expressed concern over billing as well as a portion of the contract that deals with claims and disputes.
    Supervisors directed Allen to contact AHTS and talk to them about her concerns. She said she would bring the contract back to the Supervisors, probably as early as next Monday.
