BCLUW football falls to Bearcats

CONRAD – North Butler spoiled BCLUW football’s homecoming game in a 41-7 win for the unbeaten Bearcats at BCLUW High School on Friday.

The Comets (0-4) were held to 68 yards of total offense and trailed 35-0 at halftime. BCLUW heads to Nashua-Plainfield (1-3) for Week 5 on Friday.

Nick Feldpausch had 10 carries for 61 yards and a seven-yard touchdown score to lead the Comet offense.

Defensively, Tyler Bracy made nine total tackles for the Comets to top the tackle charts; Kade Pekarek had seven tackles and Nick Pieper made five total stops. Aiden Farnsworth added a fumble recovery.

Five different Bearcats scored touchdowns for North Butler on Friday. Chet Buss was a defensive menace, making 11.5 total tackles, including five for loss, and scooping a fumble recovery.
