Boys basketball roundup: BCLUW topples Trojans

CONRAD – Treye Teske scored a season-high 23 points as BCLUW rallied to a 51-45 win against West Marshall at BCLUW High School.

Jesse Moore added 11 points for the Comets (7-9, 3-6 NICL West), beating the Trojans for the first time since Jan. 23, 2015.

BCLUW outscored West Marshall 29-19 in the second half to rally from a halftime deficit.

 

SOUTH HARDIN 57, GLADBROOK-REINBECK 38: The Tigers' win in Reinbeck puts both teams at two losses in the NICL West; G-R at 8-2, South Hardin at 7-2.

Dylan Riffey scored 11 points to lead the Rebels, who played without star senior Tyler Tscherter.  William Kiburis had six points, five rebounds and four assists; Cullen Eiffler scored four points with six rebounds.

South Hardin got off to a strong start, leading 25-15 at halftime. The Tigers avenged the Jan. 7 loss to the Rebels in Eldora.

G-R shot 30.4 percent as a team and was outrebounded by the Tigers, 36-19.
