Case announces candidacy for Grundy County Recorder
GRUNDY CENTER – Today, Travis Case announced that he will run for the office of Grundy County Recorder in the June 3 Republican Primary Election. Case, a native of Beaman, cites a desire to serve the public and his past experience as reasons for deciding to run.
“I’ve worked as an assistant and deputy in the Marshall County Auditor and Recorder’s office for the past six years,” he said. "I’ve been appointed by the Recorder’s Association to serve on the statewide technology committee as well as being elected to a leadership position within our local district. I have a comprehensive knowledge of the duties of the office of county recorder and can hit the ground running from day one. Being able to use my experience to give back to the county I grew up in just feels like the right thing to do.”
