D-NH girls prevail, boys fall at Denver
DENVER – Medalist Ashley Dumler’s 42 and Bri Weber’s 43 helped the Dike-New Hartford girls to a 41 stroke win over Denver Thursday. Nikki Weisenfluh carded a 52 and Maddi Brummond a 54 to round out the Wolverine team score. Katie Camarata stroked a 62 and Abby Camarata a 65. For the JV girls Brynn Harberts shot a 60 and Katelyn Souska a 66.
Denver defeated the Dike-New Hartford boys by 16 strokes with the help of two 36’s by their top two individuals, which tied for medalist honors. Zach Nicholson shot a 38 to lead the Wolverines. Also contributing to the boys’ team score were Royce Weber with a 39, Byron Fritch with a 46, and Drew Aalderks who shot a 47. Dalton Mulgrew carded a 49 and Alex Anderson a 51. The boys’ JV results included a 59 by Dalton Feckers, a 65 by Nolan Dehbuhr, 66 by McClain Williams, and 67 by Trevor Dumler.
