Doris M. Becker, 85, of Grundy Center, formerly of Garrison, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Vinton with Father Ardel Barta as Celebrant. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home and for an hour prior to Mass on Thursday at the church. Interment will be in the Garrison Cemetery, Garrison. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Garrison Fire Department and the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit.Condolences may be left at www.vsrfh.com.
