Friday's girls basketball: AGWSR girls fall to ranked Hudson

HUDSON – Hudson broke away from the AGWSR girls basketball team in the second half of a 55-40 victory at Hudson High School.

The Pirates, ranked 11th in Class 2A, improved to 9-1 overall, while AGWSR fell to 5-3.

Grace Finger led the Cougars with a double-double, scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Rachel Sicard added 10 points and 10 rebounds and Alyssa Hames had eight points and seven rebounds.

BCLUW gets away early in Janesville

JANESVILLE – The BCLUW girls basketball team won its fourth consecutive game by a 50-38 margin over Janesville on Friday at Janesville High School.

Madison Ubben scored 14 points with seven rebounds. Betula Messerly added 12 points, five rebounds and four assists and Allison Engle had seven points and 10 rebounds.
