G-R receives three bids for Gladbrook asbestos removal

During a brief meeting at the high school last Tuesday, Gladbrook-Reinbeck school board member Rod Brockett, business manager Deb Oleson and Superintendent David Hill opened three bids for asbestos removal at the Gladbrook building as plans to demolish it move forward.
           
Because the fitness center and swimming pool are now likely to come down along with the rest of the facility, Hill noted that the board would need to accept a bid including both alternates.
           
“It’s a 99 percent chance we’ll do all three,” he said.
