Geraldine Kay Deeringer was born August 27, 1952 in Columbus, Neb. to Lois and Stephen Stephens. She died peacefully in Black Hawk County on September 24, 2013 at the age of 61. Services were held September 28, 2013, at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton with Pastor Richard Gates officiating. Visitation was held September 27 at the funeral home. Interment was held in the Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville following services.
