Gladbrook-Reinbeck volleyball sweeps North Mahaska
NEW SHARON – Saari Kuehl slammed 16 kills as Gladbrook-Reinbeck started the season with a straight-set victory against North Mahaska on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at North Mahaska High School.
The Rebels won 25-12, 25-10, 25-18. Kuehl earned her kills on 16-of-27 attacking, adding 14 digs and three blocks.
Katie Clark and Megan Cooley chipped in nine kills each for the Rebels; Cooley added two blocks.
Emma McClintock distributed 33 assists and Alyssa Morgan contributed seven digs and three ace serves on 14-of-14 serving. The Rebels converted 65-of-73 serves and had nine aces as a team.
