Jason Paul Reinicke
RAPID CITY, South Dakota — Jason Paul Reinicke, 45, of Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away on February 9, 2025.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial and Rosary was held Monday, Feb. 17, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Torrington, Wyoming with The Reverend Father Ray Moss officiating. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery.
Jason was born March 26, 1979, in Waterloo, the son of Rick and Cindy Reinicke.
What a sweet reward heaven received when Jason returned home. Those who knew him would all agree that Jason's smile brought happiness and that he easily brightened every room he was in. To him, there was nothing greater than the love of his family, and he spent his career helping and serving others. Ziggy's, the coffee shop that Jason successfully owned and operated in Rapid City, brought a lot of joy and fulfilled a passion in Jason's life. He also dedicated his time serving as the Director of Behavioral Health at a facility in his community where he worked closely with special needs adults.
The highlight of Jason's life, however, easily comes in the form of his beautiful wife Celeste and their amazing daughter, Evie. He beamed with pride every time he watched her on the tennis court, and nothing could compare to watching Evie grow up. Jason also loved his two corgis (Teddy and Kevin), watching football, the ocean and family reunions. According to Jason, his favorite hobby was driving Celeste around on 'her' boat. Jason's glass was always half full, and we hope that this serves as a loving reminder to look at the bright side of things, like Jason always would. We, his family, feel that Jason would like to add, he had totally great taste in music and could do the crip walk better than anyone else in Iowa.
Jason is survived by the love of his life, and wife of 15 years, Celeste, and their wonderful daughter, Evie; along with his dad, Rick Reinicke (Diana); sisters Sara Dail (Shawn) and Kelli Krupka (Ryan); his in-laws, Arthur and Mona Ramos; his brothers-in-law Aaron Ramos (Christa) and Michael Ramos (Steve) and many loving grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Hemmen.
