Larry Benson passed away at the Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown, Iowa, on Monday, May 18, 2015, at age 75 from complications of rheumatoid arthritis. A Family Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29 from 7-9 pm at the Minerva Wesley Chapel.  A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel on Saturday, May 30 at 1 p.m. with a private interment of his ashes at the Reinbeck Cemetery later. (For GPS search, the Chapel is located ¼ mile north of 1624 Hopkins Ave., Albion, Iowa 50005.) In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Minerva Wesley Chapel in care of Betty Humphreys, 1624 Hopkins Avenue, Albion, IA 50005.
