Leroy Beving

LeRoy Beving of Wellsburg, passed away at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Aplington on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023.

A private graveside celebration will be set for a later date at Cornerstone Presbyterian Cemetery in rural Ackley.

LeRoy was born to John and Maggie (Willems) Beving of rural Ackley. LeRoy farmed and worked at UNI for 25 years, retiring as a Storekeeper III. He enjoyed fishing and Hawkeye Football.

He is survived by a daughter, Debra (Larry) Bausman of Wellsburg, four grandchildren, Jason (Nikki) Beving and son Zayne, Zachary (Malia) Beving and children Zoey and Owen, Christina (Lance) Hargis, and Douglas (Elizabeth) Bausman and children Hannah and Zachary Woerner, and Madeline and Alexander Bausman. LeRoy is preceded in death by his parents, John and Maggie Beving, his wife Carol Beving, his son Gregory Beving, two brothers, three sisters, and many other relatives.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the Unity Point Hospice of Waterloo.
