Luhring earns honorable mention all-MIAA

​Kyah Luhring, a Grundy Center grad, earned honorable mention on the All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) women's volleyball teams.

Luhring is among those on this year’s Northwest Missouri State women’s volleyball team that recently clinched its first ever Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) regular-season championship in a 3-0 sweep of Central Oklahoma on Wednesday, Nov. 2 in Maryville.

​Luhring is a sophomore on the Bearcats roster and was recently named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. She's averaging 3.12 digs per set and tied a school record for most digs in a three-set match with 28 digs vs. Central Oklahoma.
