Roger Alan Wise

On Friday, June 24th, 2022, at 7:00 pm, Roger Alan Wise, loving husband and father of five, passed away at the age of 76.

Roger was born on November 27, 1945, in Chillicothe, OH, to Gerald and Pauline (Caplinger) Wise. He retired from Lennox in 2009 after 22 years of faithful service. On July 26, 1965, he married Judy Kay (Holycross) Wise. They raised two daughters, Jenny and Mary, and one son, John. One son, Christopher, tragically passed young. In 1988, they adopted and raised their grandson Justin.

Roger was an avid outdoorsman, and had a passion for boating and fishing. He was also a master brazer. He was known for his kind spirit, amazing sense of humor, and patient nature. He traveled extensively teaching brazing, and was beloved by all.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline, father, Gerald, and brothers Jerry, Richard, and Walter. He is survived by his wife Judy, his four children, Jenny, Mary, John, Justin, and many grandchildren.

The family will conduct a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations to Roger's memorial fund can be sent or delivered to 409 E Grundy Ave. in Conrad, IA, 50621.
