Ron Anderson was born July 21, 1963, in Phoenix, AZ to Ray and Sherrill (Fisk) Anderson. They moved to Union, IA where Ron graduated from Union-Whitten High School in 1981. Ron loved to work and prior to his career spent many years helping local Union and Whitten farmers. Following high school, Ron enrolled in the Tool and Die program at Marshalltown Community College. He began employment at Lennox in 1983 where he proudly worked for 22 years. He met the love of his life, Vicki Seiler, in 1988, and were united in marriage in 1989. After Lennox, he made a career switch to Fisher Controls where he worked until retirement in 2017. Ron and Vicki made their home in rural Conrad, where they raised their two daughters. Ron worked part-time for many years delivering medications for Conrad Pharmacy/Nucara Pharmacy. He was a member of the UAW, Knights of Columbus, and Free Mason. If you knew Ron, you know he loved roping and rodeo, westerns, and tractors. He could almost always be seen with a rope in his hand and attended more rodeos than we can count. Roping and rodeos always had a big piece of his heart. He was even able to take a birthday trip in July of 2022 with his family to the “Daddy of Them All” rodeo at Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming. Most of all, Ron loved his wife and girls. He truly was the definition of the best dad and loved his girls so much. He made an impact on many and will be missed by all.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Vicki, of Conrad, two daughters; Claire Anderson of Ankeny, IA, Elizabeth Anderson of Conrad, his parents, Ray and Sherrill Anderson of Eldora, IA and Mesa, AZ, two siblings; Diane (Jim) Lutz of Mesa, AZ, Steve (Marlene) Anderson of Apex, NC, his mother-in-law, Bernice Seiler of Marshalltown, two sisters-in-law; Sherri (Shannon) Logan of Marshalltown, IA, Cindi (David) Morgan of Union, IA, his brother-in-law, Henry (Dee) Seiler of Albion, IA, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as his beloved dog, Maggie. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father-in-law.
