School Board votes to close Upper Elementary

The Grundy Center School Board Wednesday, voted to close the district's upper elementary building following a heated debate. The 3-2 vote saw directors Brent Ascher, Chad Mackie and Ron Saak voting in favor of the measure and directors Bob Johanns and Kelly Mathews voting against.
