Shirley Jones

Shirley Ann Jones, 67, passed away on December 23rd, 2023, in Grundy Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dike Memorial Building on Saturday, Jan. 20, from noon to 3 p.m.. A private burial will be held for the family.

She was born Nov. 15, 1956, in Grundy Center to Ralph and Bernice (Bielefeldt) Jones. Shirley attended high school in Dike graduating in 1974. She also attended college at Wartburg College, graduating in 1978, and AIC in 1996 earning both a Bachelor of Arts and a Paralegal degree.

Shirley just recently retired from Community Title Company in Grundy Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family including her two grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her son, Chris (Brittany) of Reinbeck, her two grandchildren Charley and Oliver; four brothers, Jim Jones of Eldora, Bill (Pam) Jones of Dike, Bob (Shawna) Jones of Grundy Center, and Don (Tammy) Jones of Traer and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
