Spartan girls top BCLUW, fall to Pocahontas Area
AMES – Grundy Center knocked off BCLUW for the second time this season Friday night to pick their sixth conference win, 45-22. On Saturday the Spartans had the unique opportunity to face off against Class 3A No. 2 Pocahontas Area in Ames, falling to the highly-ranked Indians 73-35.
The Spartans (9-5 overall, 6-3 NICL-West) were to host Hudson on Tuesday, Jan. 20 and play South Hardin at Eldora on Friday, Jan. 23.
