AGWSR SPLITS IN JESUP: AGWSR won one of its two duals contested at Jesup High School on Thursday.

AGWSR 59, Jesup 24 – The Cougars beat the hosts on the strength of five victories by forfeit, in addition to five head-to-head victories. Jayden Bowles, Zach Johnson, Brody Roder and Ali Gerbracht won their matches by fall, Trey Lashbrook added a tech fall victory. Trinity Rotgers, Daniel Alariksson, Jacob Haley, Jared Granzow and Tate Miller all won via forfeit.

Denver 64, AGWSR 18 – The highly-ranked Cyclones won seven matches by fall and added a major decision, in addition to receiving three forfeits in the one-sided dual.

The Cougars scored points on pinfall victories for Jacob Haley, Tate Miller and Ali Gerbracht.

East Marshall/GMG 42, Storm 27 – The Mustangs pinned their way to victory with seven wins by fall. Carter Kolthoff and Lane Hartwig won their matches by fall, Taylor Kolthoff, Kade Pekarek and Michael Fuller won decisions and Aiden Farnsworth received a forfeit.

Columbus 39, Storm 34 – Michael Fuller claimed the only head-to-head victory, a 10-2 major decision at 170 pounds. Taylor Kolthoff, Javon Darden, Logan Aicher, Sev Gonzalez and Carter Kolthoff received forfeit victories.
