Tuesday Music Club will bring water themed show to stage

One of the area’s oldest and most reliable groups will bring their music to the stage for the 98th time on Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
           
The Tuesday Music Club, comprised of women who are either current or past residents of the BCLUW school district, is set to perform “Just Add Water”—a collection of songs based on the liquid that covers 71 percent of the Earth.
           
Whether it’s “Under the Sea” from “The Little Mermaid,” “It’s Raining Men,” the surprisingly resurgent ‘80s hit “Africa,” “Across the Wide Missouri,” “Octopus’s Garden,” “Age of Aquarius,” “Yellow Submarine” or Otis Redding’s “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay,” each and every song connects to H20 in one way or another.
           
Longtime TMC member Jane Gallentine remarked that for her, this year’s selections weren’t hard to pick up and learn.
