Two area nurses make “100 Great Iowa Nurses” list

GRUNDY COUNTY – For the past 12 years, the “100 Great Iowa Nurses” program has honored nurses all across the state for their courage, competence, and commitment to patients and the nursing profession. This year, two area locals were honored for their outstanding service in the field of nursing.
Area honorees include:
·      Lara Kyhl of New Hartford, Waverly Health Center
·      Melinda Sharff-Eggers of Gladbrook, Tama County Public Health & Home Care
On Sunday, May 1, the 2016 honorees will gather at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines with more than 1,000 family members, friends and colleagues to be recognized for their outstanding careers and achievements.
