WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wartburg’s Aubrie Fisher ran the anchor leg of the winning distance medley relay team at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on the JDL Fast Track at Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The Knights won the event in 11:41.85, a half-second ahead of Loras in second. The baton went from Ellie Meyer, to Taylan Olson, to Carson McSorley and finally to Fisher, an AGWSR alum. Meyer and Fisher were formerly teammates on Iowa Falls-Alden/AGWSR’s cross country team.

Fisher also won a national title in the outdoor 3,000-meter steeplechase last year.
