Weber earns third straight 2A Player of the Year recognition
Dike-New Hartford junior Briana Weber has long been recognized as one of the top volleyball players in Iowa. Today she joins a select class reserved only for the elite.
Weber was recognized Wednesday as the Class 2A Volleyball Player of the Year for the third straight season, becoming one of the few in state history to be recognized three times.
The outside hitter led the Class 2A state champions with 4.5 kills per set while hitting with a .420 efficiency. She also served 96 percent with 46 aces and led the Wolverines with 2.54 digs per set.
Weber is joined on the All-State team by four other local players.
