Wolverines top Hudson
HUDSON – Dike-New Hartford held on to sole possession of the lead in Class 1A District 3 and clinched a playoff berth with a 35-7 win at Hudson last Friday night. The Wolverine offense wasted no time in building an early lead while the defense held the Pirates scoreless for three quarters.
“I thought we really came out ready to play,” Dike-New Hartford head coach Don Betts said. “Our guys got after them right away and we were able to set the tone early.”
Carson Parker connected with Levi Lynch on a 20-yard pass in the opening quarter for the first Wolverine score of the night.
