Gladbrook-Reinbeck nets winning record at home tourney

REINBECK – The Gladbrook-Reinbeck netters went 3-2 against rivals at their own volleyball tournament last Saturday.
The Rebels split matches with AGWSR, first bowing 19-25, 20-25, then evening the score with a 25-18, 17-25, 15-13 win in a separate meeting with the Cougars on the same day.
G-R defeated North Butler in three sets, 24-26, 25-22, 15-11. Britney Keller scored 13 kills, Jenny Schildroth had 20 assists, and Alyssa Christopher and Hayley Weber had 14 kills each to help the Rebel cause.  
The Rebels succumbed to BCLUW for the second time in a week, this time in three sets, 18-25, 25-12, 13-15. Keller recorded 11 kills, Schildroth provided 18 assists, and Christopher and Weber teamed up for nine kills apiece.
