Spartans fall to South Tama, BCLUW

GRUNDY CENTER – The Spartans girls’ basketball team dropped two close NICL-West games this past week, falling to South Tama on their home court Friday 46-41, and dropping a road game to BCLUW on Tuesday, 43-41. They also lost a non-conference game to Class 2A fifth-ranked Hudson, 71-36 on Thursday.   
The Spartans (2-3 overall, 1-2 NICL-West) have another busy three game week before the holiday break, hosting Meskwaki on Monday, Dec. 16, before going on the road to face South Hardin on Tuesday, Dec. 17, and East Marshall on Friday, Dec. 20.
