Martinez, Weber earn top finishes

NASHUA – Omar Martinez earned the third place spot in the 138 lb. class and Tony Weber placed fourth at 220 to lead GRNTGC at the Nashua-Plainfield Invitational on Saturday. Other place winners for the Rebelhawks included a fifth place showing by Ethan Erhardt and sixth place finishes by Cael Kopriva, Huston Danker, Slade Wagner, and Jacob Walters. GRNTGC placed ninth as a team, and the Clarksville Indians took the team title.
“We had some tough competition at Nashua and our guys handled it pretty well with 12 teams there,” GRNTGC coach Kyle Formanek said. “We continue to improve on our technique in matches and our effort has been improving as well.”
