Rebel boys rally past Denver, Don Bosco

REINBECK — The Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys’ basketball team picked up right where it left off before Christmas with a pair of non-divisional victories Friday and Saturday, both in come-from-behind fashion.
    The Rebels trailed Denver 31-28 at halftime Friday before rallying to a 63-60 victory, and it trailed Don Bosco 29-26 at halftime Saturday before outscoring the Dons 47-22 in the second half on its way to a 73-51 win.
    The wins move G-R’s record to 6-1 on the season. The Rebels were scheduled to return to NICL West play Tuesday at Grundy Center. They host East Marshall Friday and play Dike-New Hartford Saturday in the North Iowa Cedar League Shootout at Wartburg College in Waverly.
