Donna L. Arends, 79, of Beaman passed away peacefully on March 22, 2014, at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad after a two year battle with cancer.  Once diagnosed she never complained and maintained a brave and cheerful outlook. Visitation was from 5 to 7 pm on March 25 at Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center.  Funeral services were March 26 at the Beaman United Methodist Church in Beaman with Pastor Gene Kubli officiating.  Private burial followed in Vienna Cemetery near Beaman.  On-line condolences may be made at www.abelsfuneralhomes.com.
