Grundy County grad rates well above state average
Grundy County high school graduation rates continued to rank well above the statewide average in 2013 as well as above the North Iowa Cedar League average.
The rates were released by the Iowa Department of Education recently.
As a whole, the five school districts that serve students from Grundy County compiled a four-year graduation rate of 96.65 percent, which is nearly 7 percent above the statewide average of 89.68 percent. Moreso, four of the five schools came in above the North Iowa Cedar League graduation rate of 95.67 percent. Only Gladbrook-Reinbeck, which had the conference’s smallest graduating class of 36 students last year, came in below the conference rate.
