Lippert leads AGWSR to fourth place finish
ELDORA — Bethany Lippert won the 3,000-meter run, leading the AGWSR girls to fourth place in the South Hardin Co-Ed Meet last Friday in Eldora.
The Cougars finished with 89 ½ points. South Hardin won the meet with 147 while Iowa Falls-Alden (118) and Madrid (108 ½) also finished ahead of the Cougars.
The AGWSR boys also ran in the meet, taking fifth place with 71 points. CMB, Baxter ran away with the team title with 185 points while Denver was a distant second with 103. South Hardin (99) and Madrid (93) also finished ahead of the Cougars.
Lippert also finished fifth in both the high jump and the 1,500 meters for the girls’ team. Her sister Jessica Lippert was fourth in the high jump and fifth in the 800. Madison Fryslie placed second in the long jump and Rachel Frazier was fourth in the shot put.
