Spartan tennis girls fall to South Tama
TAMA — The Grundy Center girls’ tennis team could not convert opportunities last Tuesday while dropping a 9-0 decision to South Tama.
The Spartans (0-4) played a lot of games to deuce, according to Coach John Baade, but could not get the wins.
“South Tama had a senior team with a lot of experience,” he said. “Our GC girls played a lot of games to deuce but close doesn't get a game win. That being said all of the girls are playing better and I think by conference time we will win some of these games.”
