Bernard D. Venenga, age 79, of Grundy Center passed away July 15, 2014, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Funeral service were held July 21 at the American Lutheran Church in Grundy Center. Burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Grundy Center American Legion Post #349 and AMVETS 17. Visitation was held July 20 at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.abelsfuneralhomes.com.
